Loving Lately: Doggy Addition – September 2020

When it comes to our fur baby Cooper, we do our very best to find treats and food with good ingredients, toys that he will love and interact with that he won’t rip apart in five seconds, and products that are toxin free.

Well, Cooper turned two this past April and in the past year and a half we’ve found some new favorites that I thought might be fun to share with you all.

  1. Zuke’s Mini Naturals – Turkey & Pumpkin Recipe Dog Treats
We love this brand for quick and easy treats with pretty good ingredients. And of course, as we transition into fall, I had to pick up some of the Turkey & Pumpkin seasonal flavor. Cooper loves these!
  2. Starmark Treat Ringer FlexGrip UFO Dog Toys, Medium
This toy keeps Cooper busy for about 15 minutes now that he’s mastered getting the treat rings out. He gets an interactive treat and we get a few minutes without him barking for attention, haha. He has had several variations of these kinds of toys, but the UFO seems to be his current favorite.
  3. Castor & Pollux Organix Tiny Feasts Grain-Free Organic Turkey & Potato Stew Dog Food
We typically feed cooper dry food, but I love to pick these up for a special dinner treat, or even to help with any stomach issues he might have. Switching to a wet food for a night every so often makes him feel special and also helps keep him regular, if you know what I mean. We either snag a pack of 12 through Chewy.com and that lasts us a while, or grab a one-off if we want a different flavor at PetSmart or PetCo.
  4. Young Living Animal Scents – Puriclean
I put 10 drops of this in a 4oz glass spray bottle, fill the rest with water, give it a good shake and I instantly have a pet-refresh spray. I will spray this on Cooper about once a week or so when I give him a good brush, just to freshen him up in between baths.
  5. ZippyPaws Food Buddies Burrow, Interactive Squeaky Hide and Seek Plush Dog Toy (Popcorn)
Cooper absolutely LOVES this thing. Not only does it have little squeaky popcorn balls that he loves to chase around, but it’s also interactive when you put the popcorn balls back into the plush toy. He really enjoys sticking his snout inside to pull them out and always seems to be having a blast when this toy is in play.

I’d love to hear what some of your favorite products for your fur babies are in the comments below, so feel free to share!
