This Blog

I apologize for the lack of posts lately! So here is a quick, mini-rant on the theme of this blog.

My original vision for this blog was always for it to be something different – something like “the adventures of a young couple in their twenties”. But somehow, that just didn’t allow for much content, as Cody and I are not always out gallivanting around doing fun things. Real life set it, promotions for both of us, school added on top of that, balancing family time, with work time, with couple time. So somewhere in the midst of all of this, Our Little Adventures has turned into a hodgepodge of themes and posts.

Would I love for this blog to be more of a pristine lifestyle blog like so many that I follow and adore online and on Instagram? Yes, actually, I think that would be great! Because that is the kind of blog that turns into a business these days and because duh, they’re super pretty and inspiring. But that was not my original intention, I wanted to be somewhat different, even if only a little, and I plan to stick with that as well as the blog name.

I assume the name of this blog will start to make a lot more sense A) If Cody and I suddenly find all the money and time in the world to travel and do cute couple things 90% of the time instead of 5% or B) When we finally save up enough money to get married and start a family and then it will be a blog filled with our family’s adventures, kids, pets and all. I’m leaning towards the ladder. So until then readers, I beg of you, don’t hold me to a theme, because I don’t have one. Just enjoy the spasticness that is my mind, and now apparently my blog.

I will leave you with a recent photo of Cody and I being cute at a 49ers game. They may have lost, but I got my cliche kissing picture so I’m a happy camper.
