Our Bridal Party Gifts

We took a while choosing the right gifts to thank our bridal party for being such a big part of our special day. We really wanted the gifts to be things that they would appreciate and be able to get some use out of. We gave the gifts to them at our rehearsal dinner and thanked them all from the bottom of our hearts for all that they did to help us prepare for our wedding. We also wrote individual notes to each of them and tucked them in the gift bags.

For the girls, I knew I wanted a classic robe picture, so that was going to be one of their gifts right off the bat. I went with purple Kimono style robes from Pretty Robes – I wanted to get them monogrammed, but several of the girls weren’t married yet so I didn’t want it to be something that wouldn’t have the correct monogram on it later down the road. I ended up personalizing them by having the first letter of their first names put on the front. I also chose purple and gold earrings from Amelia Rose that matched their dresses perfectly for them to wear for the wedding (and hopefully wear again), and personalized compact mirrors from Wedding Favorites. We also got them purple shawls that were draped over their chairs in the barrel room in case they got cold later on in the evening.

Cody went with themed and manly gifts for his groomsmen. The Marvel fan that he is, he was planning to wear cuff links with the Avengers “A” on them, so he picked out S.H.I.E.L.D. insignia cuff links for the rest of the guys to wear that he found on Amazon. He also got them monogrammed knives from Engrave My Memories. They turned out great and were a hit.

We also got our ring bearer a little something – a Super Mario themed card game since he was super into Mario at that time. He loved it and wanted to play it immediately.

And we also got our officiant the Hometeam Snack Box (football themed) from Harry & David. He teared up at the note and was extremely grateful – as were we, as it was Cody’s uncle officiating our wedding and that meant the world to us.

All in all our gifts were a success and we were so happy to be able to express our appreciation for some of the most important people in our lives.
